I've been spending most of my time reading The Land of Oz. It's actually much better than the Wizard of Oz and I find myself wondering how the Wizard has stood the test of time. I also can't get over the vocabulary. I could go into a tirade about the crap kids read and watch today and how Bugs Bunny had more educational value than the stuff on TV...but I think I've subjected you all to enough tirades this week. I'll save it for later.
Since most of my knitting time is being taken up with seekrit knitting I started a new sock specifically for today's post (It's the Traveler pattern.) Oh, the sacrifices I make for the blog. I may have also started a lace scarf, but forgot to photograph it. The green thing is going to be the Tantric Puzzle top eventually. You've got to knit two 12"x42" strips. For most folks that would equate to Chinese water torture, but I don't think there is such a thing as tedious knitting.
