I've been reading about Yarn Along for weeks. For weeks every Wednesday rolled around and I would realize that I (again) forgot to write a Yarn Along post. Well, not this week!
I'm still working on the Seaweed project and I recently started some socks to go with The Wizard of Oz (Part of the 19th Century Novels group on Ravelry.) The picture doesn't show it as well, but the yarn has blue for the land of the Munchkins, a splash of green for the Emerald City, yellow for the land of the Winkies and red for the land of the Quadlings. I sort of ignore the orange and bemoan the fact that there is no purple for the Gillikins...but really that isn't mentioned in The Wizard of Oz.
I enjoyed The Wizard of Oz so much that I decided to read book 2 -The Land of Oz (where I learned about the Gillikins and purple.)
The Cartoon History of the Universe was a suggestion for Operation Erudition and it is really entertaining.
La Vida Loca is for an immersion workshop I'll be attending next week.
Ripley's is really just pure entertainment reading and in fact, I've already finished it. (So I guess that makes #28)
And my writing really sounds first-gradish, doesn't it?
Yesturday I went to nit nite with my frends. we laffed alot. it was fun. the end.
