More Socks

2 down, 4 to go.

JBIIIA

Specs:
Yarn: Lion Brand Magic Stripes in Jelly Bean
Pattern: Of my own devising (Ok, I just did Van Dyke without the pattern stitch.)
Needles: US size 0 (2.0mm)
10kH: 16.75 hours (only 9801.37 left to go)
Commentary: There's all kinds of wrong with these.
  • The fabric is bullet-proof. I guess that's to be expected when the ball label suggests a US size 4 (3.5mm) needle and you use US size 0 (2.0mm.)
  • I can never remember which way to do right leaning/left leaning M1s and I'm always too lazy to look it up, so there's some sloppy increasing on the toes and heels. (I did resolve the problem by heel #2.)
  • They are short because the ball band said there was 330 yards and I have no idea how much yardage I use when I make socks. Apparently not much because there is quite a bit of the ball left. (Hmmm, baby booties may be the next FO post.)

They will do for kicking around the house. In fact, I've been wearing them since the "photo shoot" this morning. Now I can add a little more to my Pros and Cons of Socks list as well.

New Pros:
  • I finished this pair pretty quickly, so Plain Vanilla Socks can be instant gratification projects.
  • Plain Vanilla Socks also work well for Knit Nite.
New Cons:
  • Unless you are adept at yoga, taking FO pics alone is difficult.
  • You have to remember to shave before FO pics.
I think more research is needed before I make a final decision.

      Blogroll Roundup 6/30/10

I've read a few things in the last couple days and I feel like sharing.
      1. Truths for Grown Ups at Rabies on My Shoe made me laugh so hard I think I peed a little.
      2. Erin mentioned how she avoided Twilight for the longest time simply because it was so popular. It got me thinking about how I will avoid a lot of knitting patterns and designers simply because everyone swoons over them (not including Wendy and the Harlot.) I will avoid Jared Flood like the plague simply because so many people think he's the shiz.
      3. Corinna debuted  the Cordelle Shawl (and a half-off sale) and it was love at first sight.
      4. Jen wrote a post about what I call knitfreeloaders (another lady at my Knit Nite calls them help vampires.)
      5. Wendy threw away a sweater and honestly it made me feel so much better about the multiple sweaters I've thrown out.
      6. I am insanely jealous of Stephcuddles' Zig Zag sweater. I could knit for an eternity and never be as skilled.

      Ten on Tuesday 6/29/10

      Photobucket

I make no guarantees I will actually stick with this, but I'll make a label for it anyway.

10 Books on Your Summer Reading List
Well, let's see... I seriously doubt I will actually get any reading done this summer, so here are 10 books I would read if I had the attention span for it.
      1. The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson
      2. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest also by Stieg Larsson
      3. Knit, Purl, Die by Anne Canadeo
      4. By Hook or Crook by Betty Hechtman
      5. A Stitch in Crime also by Betty Hechtman
      6. A Deadly Yarn
      7. A Killer Stitch
      8. Dyer Consequences
      9. Fleece Navidad
      10. Skein of the Crime.(I'm a little behind on the Maggie Sefton books.)
And now that I've actually written the list, I realize how pathetic I am. 80% (I did the math) of these books are brain-candy-read-in-two-days kind of books. You would think I could manage them, eh?

I Call It "Still Life With Jammies"

I have two more FO's officially under my belt and I learned how to use the self timer on my camera.

      Juliet & Shalom

      Specs for Juliet III
Yarn: TLC Essentials in Robin Egg
      Needles: US 10 (6.0mm)
      10kH: 9.91 hours

      Specs for Shalom
Yarn: TLC Essentials in Robin Egg
      Needles: US 8 (5.0mm)
      10kH: 25.5 hours

(BTW, I forgot to mention the 10kH totals for my Van Dyke Socks. 18.42 hours. I can knock off 53.83 hours leaving me with 9818.12 hours to go. All told I have knit for completion for 191.88 hours.)

Now back to Shalom...let's deconstruct it, shall we?

      Shalom Commentary

I know we are our own worst critics, but this photo is actually doing Shalom some justice. In real life the mistakes are even more glaring.

And I will go on record now and say that I enjoy knitting/crocheting with acrylic, but as far a garments go it may not be the greatest choice. With natural fibers I could block out some imperfections and uneven knitting, but that just isn't the case with acrylic. Do not think you will never see an acrylic garment from me though. I'm currently considering a garter stitch cardigan in TLC Heathers. It's an experiment. I've learned that acrylic doesn't work so well for lacy patterns or stockinette. Let's see how garter stitch goes.

      Please Vote!

A couple folks mentioned that the whole reason they got into knitting was that they wanted to make socks. This got me wondering what project most prompts a person to knit.  I've added a poll at the top of the poll. Won't you please vote? Thanks!

      Socks!

I finished my first pair of socks for 2010!

      Socks

Pattern: Van Dyke Socks from Socks from the Toe Up by Wendy Johnson
Yarn: Zitron Trekking XXL color 175
Needles: Knit Pics US size 0 (2.0mm)
      Method: Magic Loop

In January, I told myself I would make 6 pairs of socks this year. I don't think that is going to happen. I'm pretty ambivalent when it comes to socks. I own a squillion sock pattern books and a metric ton of sock yarn. I am madly in love the idea of socks...just not the actual process of knitting them.

      I like socks because:
      • As far a s projects go, they are pretty portable.
      • Turning a heel is just cool.
      • Handmade socks are a joy to wear.
      • It is kind of an ego boost when someone comments on your socks and you can say "I made them myself."
      • They are seamless.
      I don't like socks  because:
      • It seems to take me forever to knit them...even worsted weight ones. And I really don't understand this because I have small feet (size 6 1/2. )
      • Ok, so that's the only thing I dislike about socks. For me they are not instant gratification projects. Despite this, I plan on casting on another pair this afternoon.

        Friday Fill-In 6/25/10 and a Clarification

        Photobucket

        1. On vacation, I like to veg out and knit.
        2. I like to watch others play in the ocean.
        3. One of my favorite vacation spots is the beach, but the oil spill seems to have ruined that this year :-(.
        4. It's true that people act crazy when there is a full moon.
        5. Up, up and away in my beautiful balloon.
        6. This **** is Bananas-- b-a-n-a-n-a-s.
        7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to knitting, tomorrow my plans include World Cup Soccer and Sunday, I want to watch more soccer!

        Clarification
I may have put my foot in my mouth when I spoke of yarn snobs on Wednesday. I did not mean to imply that if you dislike acrylic you are automatically a yarn snob. When I think/say "yarn snob" I am talking about that brand of knitter that seems to find it necessary to belittle projects made of acrylic or the folks who use it.

And really if I think about it, I am being a yarn snob snob since I am in a way belittling those who belittle. Ah what a vicious cycle!

        This and That for Thursday

        Beware! TMI ahead!
        • Hubadub and I went to see Knight and Day this afternoon. It was really good. It will probably get lost between Toy Story 3 and Eclipse; which is too bad.
        • Before the movie, we saw this ad...hilarious and effective. If I were in the market for a car right now, I would get a KIA Soul in a heartbeat. (Offspring drives a KIA and we are pleased with it.)

        • I would love to get a boob job... but not your typical boob job. I want them evened up (Thank you scoliosis), reduced and perkified. Hubadub is against this because of some garbage about surgery being risky so why borrow trouble blah blah blah. Today I was so desperate I told him I would save money on yarn if my boobs were smaller.
        • Hubadub got a wild hair today and said he wanted to go to Vancouver in July. Too bad it would cost us $2000+. Maybe I can talk him into Atlanta. (Wherever we go needs to be vegan friendly.)
        • I cast on a Shalom cardigan yesterday. Completely unplanned. I just woke up and thought "Gee, I think I'll cast on Shalom today."  No gauge swatch, nothing. I did an in-progress try on today. It fit; however, I don't plan on thumbing my nose at the knitting gods like that again.
        • A long time ago I made a Prairie Blanket with no recipient in mind. In May a former student had a baby and I gave it to her. The student's mother messaged me on Facebook this week and said the blanket will be used at the baptism this week-end. I.am.so.flattered. I mean really touched.
I guess that is all for now (although with the boob job story I'm sure you're thinking it's plenty.) I'll be back in about 12 hours with this week's Friday-Fill In.

          6.23.2010

          Then and Now

          Attitudes then:
          • Gauge schmauge! Math sucks!
          • I'm not good enough for "real" yarn.
          • Yarn snobs are mean. Let's throw acrylic rocks at them.
          • I don't like ____. I can't do this pattern.
          • Blocking? Huh? What's that?
          • Errata? Huh? What's that?
          • Blog? Huh? What's that?
          • Crochet is just as good as knitting.
          Attitudes now:
          • Math can help me bend a pattern to my will. I think.
          • Gauge is sort of my friend. Sometimes. When she's not being a lying be-yotch.
          • There is too much knitting to be done to be picky about yarn. I'll buy what I buy. Sometimes from a "real" LYS and sometimes from a chain store.
          • Yarn snobs are still mean and aren't fun to play with. (But I guess I'm too mature to throw things at them. *pout*.)
          • I don't like ____. Maybe I can change it.
          • Blocking is good.
          • If something isn't working out, look for errata.
          • I have a blog and I read about a squillion posts weekly.
          • I still love you crochet, but you are not knitting. You have your strengths, but when you try to be knitting, it just looks kind of desperate and sad.

One More FO and a 10kH Update

Ends were woven and pictures taken of my 5th pair of baby booties yesterday:

            GrayVIII

            Pattern: Christine's Stay-On Booties
Yarn: Bernat Hot Sox in Steel Hot
            Needles: US 1 (2.25 mm)
            10kH: 6.10 hours

And since I completely forgot yesterday:
            Circle Shrug: 17.08 hrs
            Juliet II: 12.16 hrs

            3 Project Total: 25.34
            Hours so far: 138.05
            Hours to go: 9871.95

Summer = Productivity (And Time to Play With Photo Editing)

I would say the majority of the knitting I do in a year is accomplished during the summer and the two weeks we get off at Christmas.

I recently finished Juliet II and yesterday I finally dragged Hubadub away from the computer for pictures. (I generally don't consider a project "finished" until I have FO pictures.)

            Captioned Juliet IIFOB

            Juliet IIFO

            Juliet IIFOA

(The sweater pin I'm using is made from recycled dpn's. There is a slew of recycled knitting needle accessories at sassafrascreations. Great prices, great customer service, fast shipping. I have no affiliation with her, I'm just a satisfied customer.)

            Now some details.
            Pattern: Juliet by zephyrstyle.
            Yarn:
I decided to use TLC Essentials on a whim because I had it. The pattern calls for a bulky weight yarn and acrylic worsted weight can often feel bulky. Knitting it up on size 10 (6mm) needles and then "killing" it in the dryer makes for a rather soft product with nice drape. Using the worsted weight also did not make the fabric as dense. A couple of years ago I had attempted a Juliet using bulky weight wool yarn and I just didn't like it. It was stiff (even after blocking.) It made me look huge. I told myself if I ever gave the pattern another try, I would use worsted weight. I know there are some acrylic nay-sayers out there, but really I'm quite pleased with the end result. So pleased that I started a third using another colorway of TLC that I had. (BTW, I've finished all the knitting on Juliet III. I just need to weave in ends, block a little and get pictures taken.)
Needles: US size 10 (6 mm)
Comments: Juliet is a great pattern. It's  a super fast knit (One could probably finish it in a week-end.) I used some modifications I found on ravelry because as written, the bottom section flares out waaaay to much for my taste and age. There's still a little flare at the back that I'm not thrilled about, but I suspect it's a combination of my scoliosis and the garter stitch border. I have made a little change in Juliet III that seems to help.

But the FO parade is not over! I've also completed my Circle Shrug.

            Circle Shrug

            Circle Shrug II

Pattern: Circular Shrug by Julia Allen
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft in Autumn Red
Needles: US size 7 (4.5 mm)
Comments: This is another pattern that I enjoy making. I think the Simply Soft is a little stretchier than the Wool Ease I used for my sister's shrug.

And just so everyone knows...I'm kicking around the idea of casting on a fourth Juliet and a third circle shrug. A rut, Iz in one.

            6.20.2010

            WWKIP 2010

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending my first ever World Wide Knit In Public Day. (Although, this was the second annual WWKIP for Montgomery.)

            We made the paper!

I originally planned on going and taking tons of pictures to share with everyone, but I decided to knit instead. Can you blame me?

As hot as it gets here (about 100 degrees yesterday), we had to hold ours inside.

This picture was taken early in the day. We had a lot more people about an hour later. The local news even showed up! I recorded the broadcast last night, but I have not confirmed that we were on the air. It would be very exciting if we did. The Guild president was very pleased with the turn out (a little more than last year) and all of our information/membership pamphlets were gone by the end of the day.

            6.18.2010

            Friday Fill-In 6/18/10

            1. I'm usually headed for work by 6:58.
            2. It was the reason, of course, _________. (Sorry, folks, I got nada for this one.)
            3. Volunteering to help is something I no longer feel the need to do. (Failure to plan on your part does not constitute and emergency on my part.)
            4. I have another errand to run, then back home I go.
            5. The truth is out there...just go find it
            6. What were once vices now seem to be virtues.
            7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching Quantum Leap DVD's and knitting, tomorrow my plans include a WWKIP event and Sunday, I want to watch World Cup Soccer!

Currently I am in a knitting rut. I only have the desire to knit the same two projects: baby booties and Juliet (rav link.) I'm working on pair number 4 of the booties and yesterday I cast on my 3rd Juliet.

            JulietIIIE

In a fit of rebellion, I have chosen to use TLC Essentials (by *horrors* Red Heart) for the Juliets.

I realize I have failed to share the 2nd Juliet with you, but only one crappy picture exists. I will rectify that situation soon. And just so you know, I like the way the first acrylic Juliet came out so nyah!

            6.17.2010

            Thursday Thirteen 6/17/10

This is not one of those "blog-alongs" that I normally do...mainly because I have a very difficult time coming up with 13 things (which you will see in a moment.) The official site with cool codes and stuff can be found here.

            So without further ado...

13 Reasons Why the World Cup is Awesome

            1. The announcers have sexy accents.
            2. The players are hawt!
            3. VUVUZELAS!!
            4. National Anthems.
            5. Clint Dempsey.
            6. The Hand of Clod.
            7. Major upsets (Hello, Spain? What happened?)
            8. Major heartbreaks. (See #6)
            9. Knitting (Well, at least for those of us at home.)
            10. Like the Olympics, it seems like for just a little while the world stops and gets along...at least on the field.
            11. Desmond Tutu dancing in the stands
            12. Paid Chinese Actors!
            13. And now I'm stuck. See? This is why I rarely do this.

            6.16.2010

            I Need An Intervention

I have finished a fourth pair of baby booties and I see no signs that I'm tired of making them.
            Bootie II
I have attempted to eskimimi-ize the photo to no avail.

Thanks to baby booties, I can knock off 14.5 hours from my 10kH totals. 102.71 down, 9897.29 to go!

            6.13.2010

New Camera, New Sweater, New Obsession

            New Camera
Well, I caved and bought myself a new camera. I still have a lot to learn about the thing. I don't see a huge difference in picture quality, but the new one is more compact and more lightweight. I'll be piddleing with it in the coming days to perfect my technique (although I suspect there is little hope for me.) Here are a couple shots I took of Arnold and Ash.

            DSCN0013

            DSCN0012

            New Sweater
I put the finishing touches on Juliet on Friday and was really excited because Offspring was coming in to town. My photographer was going to be able to get pics of my new sweater!

Click to see the Ravelry project page.

Please forgive Offspring, she still has to get used to the new camera.

I guess I'm happy enough with the sweater. I can't apologize for the knitting if I want to be a Bad Ass Knitter, but I sure want to. There are so many things I think I could have done better on this sweater.
            • The yarn is really unevenly dyed. I should have knit from two balls of yarn and done each row from a different ball.
            • I should have started the lace a little higher up.
            • It could be a twidge larger.

            New Obsession
I am in love with Christine's Stay on Bootie pattern. I am currently working on my fourth pair. Let me share the second and third pairs with you:

            DSCN0038

            picnikfile_l1-Br1
Eventually I'll figure out this new camera.

I expect with the World Cup I will finish many more pairs.

            Such a Follower

BLOG HOP! I just couldn't resist this.

            Friday Fill-In 6/11/10

            1. Being on vacation feels great.
            2. The solution is simple.
            3. I find it very easy to fall asleep.
            4. How about we skip this one.
            5. Being kind is something I highly recommend!
            6. Imagine is a great John Lennon song, even if I don't agree with all the lyrics.
            7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching World Cup Soccer, tomorrow my plans include seeing the A-Team and watching soccer and Sunday, I want to knit!

And if you'll indulge me a bit more
            • Blogger has some new fangled stuff for personalizing your blog. I've tinkered with one of my other, rarely updated blogs and I kind of like it. But I don't feel like having to re-install analytics.  I just thought I would tell you all in case y'all wanted to tinker.
            • You can now preview a post before you publish. And I mean full-on preview. Kind of cool.
            • Thanks to Juliet and two pairs of baby booties, I can knock off  16.4 hours from my 10kH totals. I'm having trouble remembering to keep up with time, so as usual I'm not as fast as the numbers look.
            • WORLD CUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

            A Knitterly Word Verification

            From Soapbox.

sockfu-Wendy of Wendy Knits is a master at sockfu.

I enjoy word verification a leeetle too much methinks.

Why I Won't Talk Current Events and Politics

I avoid the news. I am what one would consider "uninformed." I basically read headlines. That is about all. Since I am so uninformed I know that I am not capable of making lucid and intelligent statements about events and politics; therefore, I keep my mouth shut. But I will say this:

            BP pisses me off.

            *Blush*

            Beautiful_Blogger

Sarah over at The Student Knitter nominated me for the Beautiful Blogger award and Lisa at Molto di Moda Designs was the blogger who let me know about the nomination. It's a good thing, too. I read Sarah's blog, but honestly I wouldn't have paid close attention to her nominees because I never get chosen for this sort of thing. I am thrilled! SQUEEEE doesn't even begin to cover it. ETA: I just found out that Allison at Dominant Hands also nominated me.

The rules are I have to give 10 little known facts about myself and then nominate 10 people for the award. I'm pretty sure after reading my list of facts, Sarah may wonder why she bothered nominating me, but here goes!

            1. I don't have a filter. I almost always say exactly what I think and often end up with my foot in my mouth.
            2. Because of this, there are very few "little known facts" about me. I let it all hang out.
            3. I had my daughter at 19.
            4. My grandfather was from Spain. He lived to be 100. I come from hearty stock. A fact Hubadub fears.
            5. I was runner up at the school-wide spelling bee when I was in the 7th grade. I know, not the winner, but I'm still proud. Each class had had a spelling bee and I hadn't won the class bee either. I was runner up in the class. The class winner was conveniently absent the day of the school-wide bee and I had to take her place. Needless to say, I was completely unprepared and hadn't even looked at a word list. It came down to me and an eighth-grader. We both flubbed megalopolis. I went down on reversible. I never found out if the eighth grader showed up to the city wide spelling bee.
            6. I like Spelling, language and words. I am the Scrabble Club sponsor at my school.
            7. I went to Germany in high school and visited (then communist) East Germany and saw the Berlin Wall about a year before it came down. (And before "the Hoff" invaded.)
            8. I'm the baby of the family. It sucks being the baby.
            9. I love Little House on the Prairie. That and Quantum Leap are my guilty pleasures.
            10. I still have the teddy bear that was given to me when I was 9 months old.

Now to the nominations (drum roll, please...)
            1. Jennifer of Wife, "Mom", Knitter
            2. Becca of Nutmeg Knitter
            3. "Bubbles" of Alabama Fiber Dreams
            4.  Gracey of Life and Yarn or Yarn and Life
            5. Sarah of SarahKnits
            6. AC of AC Engineered Knits
            7. "Noricum" of Soapbox
            8. Erin of ..and for a moment this good time could never end
            9. "Yarnpiggy" of Flying Pig Knits
            10.  Liz of Ypsilanti Dilettante

And I have to say, there are so many blogs that I admire, aspire to be like, and read faithfully. I just can't list them all. Every blogger is a beautiful blogger!

Design Features I Could Do Without

             608192_sweater
I mean no disrespect to designers or readers. To each his own, right? I'm merely sharing.
            • Bell sleeves. I will always manage to catch them on a door nob or dip them in foodstuffs if not careful.
            • Cables down the center of a sweater. Ack-sen-tchu-ate the belly pudge is not for me.
            • Horizontal stripes or designs. And in linebacker position: Me!
            • Bulky yarn. Just say no. I'm begging you. Even if I'm knitting for Twiggy, it gets heavy after a while.
            • Hugely flared bottoms after an empire waist. I am not 5...or pregnant.
            • Any cable or point that stops just above my hoo-hoo if you know what I mean.

And here are a couple more photos that came up when I searched for "sweater" at Stock.xchng.

I am going on record to state that I totally stole the idea of sharing gratuitous animal pics after reading this post from AC.

              Let The Vacation Begin!

With all the meetings and paternal visits over the last 4 days, it hasn't felt much like I was on vacation, but things have settled down, I have no meetings and Dad left yesterday. Now I can get to work on some projects I cast on recently:

              Liesel
Liesel (click to view project page.)

              Apple Blossom
Apple Leaf (again, click to view my project page)

I started Juliet, got all the way to the lace portion and decided I didn't like the neckline and spent all of Sunday frogging and starting over. Here's where I was when I went to bed at 1 AM:
              Juliet
              You know what to do!

The sad part is that I'm still not 100% happy with the neckline, but I'm too lazy to fix it. (I'll never be accused of perfectionism.) And the little white specks you see are not photo blips. There really are several spots in the yarn that just didn't seem to get any dye.

In addition to all these projects, I've still got some socks in progress, a circle shrug awaiting seaming/end weaving and on June 15th I'll be starting Old Man of Storr for a Shawl-Along.

I took none of this into consideration this morning when I cast on for these:
              Argh!
Sorry, folks. It's just a picture of Christine's Stay-On Booties

I spent 6 hours and 10 minutes (stop laughing at my slowness) making this pair and ignored everything else. The knitting gods (or the other projects) did not like this.
              Aaargh! Part deux
Same day, same yarn, same needles, two different sizes. *sigh*

              3. Low maintenance makes for a good friend.
              4. The wind in the trees, the rain on my skin, is annoying; I'd rather be inside.
              5. Being on vacation  is so exciting!
              6. My best friend knows how to make me laugh at myself.
              7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching the Spelling Bee finals, tomorrow my plans include Thai food  and Sunday, I want to knit

              10kH +HPKCHC=Drat

Which is just code for "Mish Mash."
              • So many of my 10kH hours go undocumented. I sit down and knit and when I come to I realize I forgot to take note of start and end times. Not to mention meeting knitting.
              • The new classes for HPKCHC are up. So far I am uninspired by most of them. I've got two great ideas for Potions and Charms, but they are both larger (for me) projects, so I will probably have to focus on those two and be content with not completing all six classes this term.
              • My right wrist is really starting to bother me. I blame the computer. Anything but the knitting.
              • I never made any goals for May. The good news is I met all my goals.
Maybe I should interrupt the Mish Mash for some Goals.
              • Take Arnold to vet.
              • Cast on Juliet (DONE! And this is not a ravlink. I just thought I would shake things up a bit, but don't panic, all subsequent links are ravlinks.)
              • Make two dishcloths.
I think this is good. I don't want to overextend myself.

Returning to Mish Mash (which you will see is more of a latenight -I - can't - sleep - shouldn't - have - had - the - coffee - at - knit -nite - notabulletedpostcauseyouneedmorethanoneitemtomakeabulletedlist ramble.)

Sooooo, don't you hate it when you are wearing one of your hand knit sweaters and someone asks "Did you make that?" I.hate.this.question. The person either means:
              1. Holy jeemo that looks hideous and I just need to assure myself that you didn't spend money on it because I would hate to think I associate with people that stupid. OR
              2. Holy jeemo that looks great and I think it is so cool that I know someone so gosh darn clever*.
This was the topic of discussion this evening and it was proposed that one is more likely to hear this question  if the hand knit is question was done with worsted weight yarn. Good point, but I'm not sure if the extra time required to knit a sweater with DK or *gasp*  fingering weight is worth it. Only Ruth's Tee would come close to convincing me to try to knit an entire sweater with fingering weight. (And yes, I am aware of Knit So Fine.) Thoughts? Comments?

*I generally assume the first one 'cause otherwise I am a cocky knitter which is just rude and honey, down he-ah we just don't do thaa-yet.
