To All Veterans and Active Military

Thank you for the sacrifices you have made and continue to make.

One of my uncles fought in WWII.
Another in Vietnam.

I will honor you and all Vets and military by honoring my country: I will not complain about it or it's leaders (no matter what their politics.) I will not be ashamed to say the pledge or sing the national anthem (quietly, since I can't sing.) I will remember my grandfather risked everything to come here. I will remember that you loved this country enough to stand up and say "I'm willing to die for this."

Not many of us have that kind of courage.
