I decided to participate in Socktoberfest again this year. I finally turned the heel of the first sock tonight. I don't think I will finish the pair by next Saturday.* (I've got MIL's shawl I want to finish)

Last year I signed up and didn't even start a pair of socks. So this year's effort counts as progress, right?
