If The Government Wants to Get Involved

And it seems to me that they do get involved in some silly things so why not knitting?

They should mandate the following:

• a minimum of 100 yds in all yarn skeins. I don't know why but skeins of 82 and 97 yards just annoy the crap out of me.
• schematics should be included in all patterns.
  
• all designers should be required to list sweater construction as part of the description. When I'm surfing for patterns I want to know is it's seamless or pieced together. Some designers include this. Some do not.

I'd like to know what ya'll think. What requirements would you like to see in the knit/yarn world?
