Really these cravings are quite annoying.
Miscellany
- Checking gauge really does save time. But there's no adventure in that.
- When I knit socks, I can guarantee I will frog and start over at least 3 times. (see above.)
- Charts have keys. Use them. Avoid this: "hmmm, I just noticed that on the chart there are mirrored slashes. Sh*t, one is a k2tog, the other an ssk. I've been making them all k2tog's. sigh" (This was after 2 8row pattern repeats. Coupled with the three attempts at even getting ribbing done, I chose not to rip and start over. I don't think it is too noticeable.)
